dash lights flicker??

my dash lights flicker and then stay off but only the ones that light up my tach and my fuel gauge but my fuel needle stays lite up but my tach needle doesnt. my speedo and temp gauges flicker on occasion but stay on for the most part. any suggestions?

Probably a loose wire or connection behind the dash that is connecting and disconnecting intermittently.

loose or damaged wires
mine did that for a while until they would just be off for 90% of the time. i had a bulb explode at one point and one of the wires melted a little.
