I wasn't a fan of the C5 vettes for a long time and i still think they are bland, and too generic looking for a sports car, looks like a 5 year old was told to design a sports car and the C5 came to be. But I can't deny that it is an amazing car, and I am at times tempted to purchase one just because they are so damn cheap. 10k for a base C5, 18k for a Z06, its a steal!

The B5 gen Audi S4 is a pretty damn good car too, my friend is selling his for $10k right now and its got some decent mods to it already.

Those are pretty much the two that I'm considering... but I still think the C5 is the best value sports car available. $15k will get me a nice C5 Targa with around 40k miles. They are very generic sports cars but small changes can totally change the way the car looks. Basically you just have to distract people from the overall design with specific modifications.

I'd get a Z06, but I hate the FRP body style. I only like the Targa.

or you buy a Z and look like a silly ricer who stepped up from their 240sx, and if you haven't heard from jeremy clarkson audis are the new cars for cocks

edit

*if you really want to look like a douchebag, buy an evo 8 from florida, and get pulled over in it all the time .... I don't know anyone who would do that

Hey Rocky, Frankie and I could use your help some time to try to get his cousin's FC running again. We still gotta diagnose the exact problem.

What's wrong? Turbo or NA?

There is about 10 things to diagnose for a NA and maybe 15 for Turbo's before the answer becomes "rebuild."

VG30 is such a heavy engine though. I don't know what a rotary weighs but I'm willing to bet a lot less than the VG.

NA, its going to stay as the rotary.

Frankie thinks it's a fuel delivery issue. I don't know for sure.
